“Book :- The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. Reviewed 20 July 2023

Sound bites ~ A near death experience : The only think you get from hindsight is regret and lost opportunities :
This was an easy read, Nora Seed / You're the wettest of blankets, I concede / If you're in a bad place / this is a dangerous read.

Discussion :-
A good book dealing with a very sensitive mental health subject with sympathy.
Well though out and entertaining.
Most of us would read more by same author but some wouldn't and one found it depressing.

The book almost forces the reader to look back on their own lives and reflect. Almost all of us took that opportunity while reading it.

It also made us think about the pressures put on the teens of today and how things like Social network can bring out the worst in some people - there is almost only two choices ~ to bully or to be bullied.

Casting of characters would include :- A young Meryl Streep : Dame Judi Dench: Ann Marie Duff : Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) : Alica Silverstone (star of “Clueless”) :Hugh Grant :Simon Pegg : Colin Firth :Bill Nighy.”
