Spring Break 2020: Wednesday 19 to Sunday 23 February 2020

Our spring break for 2020 is to Llandudno, staying at Daish's Somerset Hotel for four nights half-board, with outings from the hotel. Price £134. Just one double and four twins left. Final payment by 31 December 2019 please and payable to Ware U3A.


Summer Break 2020: Monday 15 to Friday 19 June 2020

Our summer holiday to Scotland is entitled “Waterways of Scotland”, staying at The Radstone Hotel, Larkhall and is open to all local U3As.

We will be taking a trip to the Isle of Bute, stopping at Mount Stuart, an Victorian, Gothic style mansion with beautiful gardens within a 300 acre estate one day.

We have got an excursion where we will sail across the Clyde to Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsula visiting Benmore Botanic Gardens set in the mountains of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park also passing by Loch Eck and Loch Fyne.

We also take a ride on the Falkirk Wheel built to commemorate the Millennium before boarding a sightseeing cruise on the Firth of Forth when we will also see the Forth bridges.

Price £425 plus £73 single supplement. There is now one single room available, as well as four doubles and three twins. Please ask for a booking form. Deposit of £50 payable to Norman Allen Group Holidays and final payment by 10 April 2020.


Autumn Break 2020: Friday 16 to Monday 19 October 2020

Our autumn holiday is to Wales, staying in Llandrindod Wells at the Glen Usk Hotel.

We will visit Hay-on-Wye, Abergavenny, Brecon, the Elan Valley Reservoirs and Devil’s Bridge where we will board the steam train to Aberystwyth. There will be entertainment one evening.

Price including the train ride, £215. Three doubles / twins are available. Extra singles are available, but will carry a supplement. Deposit of £25 made payable to “Just for Groups” on booking please.
