Eastbourne Break 2019: Sunday 24 to Thursday 28 November 2019
Claremont Hotel Eastbourne. A new one for us. Turkey and Tinsel. This takes the place of our usual Autumn holiday. On our arrival, its Christmas Eve. We might have a visit from Santa on Christmas Day followed by Boxing Day and bring in the New Year on our last night! Lots of fun to be had so come and join us.
The hotel is on the sea front. It has a lounge and bar with live entertainment and a coffee shop with free Wi-Fi in public areas. The town centre is just a short walk away.
A few twins and doubles left. This is your last chance to book this holiday, which will have all the fun of the Christmas and New Year season condensed into four days!
Basic price £214. £30 deposit required payable to Daish's Holidays. The final balance due by 1 October 2019 and please make the cheque payable to Ware U3A.
Daish's holidays include coaching from Ware. Outings can be arranged from the hotel or we sometimes book our own coach for a particular day out.
Spring Break 2020: Wednesday 19 to Sunday 23 February 2020
Our spring break for 2020 is to Llandudno, staying at Daish's Somerset Hotel for four nights half-board, with outings from the hotel. Price £134. A few rooms left, so don't leave it too late to book. £30 deposit payable to Daish's Holidays.
Summer Break 2020: Monday 15 to Friday 19 June 2020
Our summer holiday to Scotland is entitled “Waterways of Scotland”, staying at The Radstone Hotel, Larkhall.
We will be taking a trip to the Isle of Bute, stopping at Mount Stuart, an Victorian, Gothic style mansion with beautiful gardens within a 300 acre estate one day.
We have got an excursion where we will sail across the Clyde to Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsula visiting Benmore Botanic Gardens set in the mountains of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park also passing by Loch Eck and Loch Fyne.
We also take a ride on the Falkirk Wheel built to commemorate the Millennium before boarding a sightseeing cruise on the Firth of Forth when we will also see the Forth bridges.

Autumn Break 2020: Friday 16 to Monday 19 October 2020
Our autumn holiday is to Wales, staying in Llandrindod Wells at the Glen Usk Hotel.
We will visit Hay-on-Wye, Abergavenny, Brecon, the Elan Valley Reservoirs and Devil’s Bridge where we will board the steam train to Aberystwyth. There will be entertainment one evening.
Price including the train ride, £215; 8 doubles, 4 twins, 6 singles, with no supplement. Extra singles may be available, but will carry a supplement. Deposit of £25 made payable to “Just for Groups” on booking please.
