Membership of Ware U3A
Membership of Ware U3A runs from January to December. We are keeping our fees to £10 per person for another year for membership from 1 January 2019. This covers the Third Age Trust £3.50 per person capitation fee, free admission to our monthly meetings, access to the groups, a new members get together meeting and a copy of our newsletter (Link).
Any member paying income tax can Gift Aid their subscription to Ware U3A increasing its value by 25p in every pound.
When you receive your membership card could you make sure that you fill in your Emergency Contact number on the reverse of your membership card and take it with you whenever you attend or partake in all U3A activities, please?
You should be aware that you take part in any U3A activity at your own risk and it is your responsibility to decide if you are fit enough to do so.
How to join
You will need to download and complete the Ware U3A membership form. Please return your form to the Membership Secretary.
Bi-monthly newsletter (Link)
All members will receive a copy of the Link newsletter on even months of the year: April, June, August, October, December and February.
Membership contact details
If any of the details on your original application have changed, would you please notify the Membership Secretary as soon as possible. Please also let the Group Leaders know that your contact details have changed also.
Third Age Matters
If you do not wish to receive the Third Age Matters magazine, please let the Membership Secretary know by sending her a message and your name will be removed from the list. Please be aware that it may take a bit of time for your details to be removed from their mailing list.

Wodson Park Sport and Leisure Centre
New members will be invited by Pauline Glenister, the New Members Coordinator to attend a new members coffee morning within three months of joining to help you settle in and answer any questions you may have. This is also an opportunity to meet a couple of the Committee Members.
