The Play Reading Group were delighted to be invited to attend Wadebridge School’s Performing Arts examination performances in the Drama Studio Kirsten Becker, Head of Drama and Media Studies, said, ‘It was great to have a well read, visiting audience and to establish links with the U3A.’ The students performed scenes from ‘My Mother Said, I Never Should,’ by Charlotte Keatley, Antigone by Sophocles and rounded off the afternoon with a light hearted and comic version of The Twelve Days of Christmas.’ Kirsten added, ‘The BTEC Performing Arts Level 3 course allows students to develop their performance skills in a vocational setting and develop links with the community; we do hope you will visit us again. We always welcome new members.
