We meet in the evening of the 3rd Thursday of every month in each other’s homes, to discuss topics of national and international importance.
We have studied migration of peoples within and to europe, and between countries in the global south. We are now looking at the history and current situation of global economic inequality. Other topics include climate change, UK Aid and access to medicines. We spend several meetings discussing each topic in depth.
We are linked to the national organisation Global Justice Now (formerly World Development Movement) – a campaigning movement, working to change damaging government policy and raise awareness generally.
