Membership of Tweeddale u3a

Tweeddale u3a (Tu3a) meets all the year around. Monthly meetings, with invited speakers and to which all members are invited, are held at 2.00 pm in the St Joseph's Neighbourhood Centre, Rosetta Road, Peebles on the second Tuesday of every month. Interest groups are very varied and include meetings and outings to places of interest. Information about these can be found here (Groups).

Members receive a regular bi-monthly bulletin by email. Paper copies are sent by post to those without email access.

The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Membership, renewable annually, allows access to all groups. Some ask for modest additional fees to cover the cost of materials or venue hire.

To join TU3A fill in the TU3A Online Membership Form.

You'll find full details on the form about how to pay.

If you have no regular access to the internet and would like a paper application form, please telephone the Membership Secretary on 07584 056255.

If you have any further questions about the application process or about subscription payments, send an email to the Membership Secretary via the Contact form - click on the Contact button at the top of the page.

Half-yearly rate for those joining from 1st July-1st November: £8.00

From 1st November the full rate reverts to £12.00 but includes the whole of the membership year from the following January to December.

Associate membership: if you are a fully paid up member of another u3a, you may join as an associate member for the reduced subscription rate of £10.00 (between 1st January and the end of June) or £7.00 (from 1st July). You will need to supply proof of your current full membership.

Similarly, if a Tu3a member wishes to join a group organised by another u3a, they will be required to join that u3a, as an associate member. You can find out more about neighbouring u3as on the u3a in Scotland website.
