Country 5 Mile Walking Group
The group is gathering and walking each month.
The Five Mile Walking Group is well supported but still welcomes new members. It operates on the same basis as the Country Walking Group where individual members are encouraged to take responsibility for a walk; carry out a pre-walk inspection of the terrain and possible risks; suggest a suitable pub for lunch. Shared transport to and from the starting point is encouraged.
We walk on the second Monday of the month meeting at 9.30 am to walk off at 10 am.
"28 walkers enjoyed the sunshine on 11th February. Recent downpours consigned us to quiet back roads rather than muddy fields, but many highlights around Washbrook and Copdock"
!1th March - A dull but dry day although very muddy underfoot. Star of the show was the Orwell Bridge looming above us.
