Pickleball
Pickleball is a new group for 2022 and is a sport that combines the elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.
Those of a wide range of ages, abilities and fitness levels can play together, it is easy to learn and a lot of fun. Many who find that badminton or tennis has become a struggle or difficult can play this. On the flip side, there are also many who have previously had no interest in sports before but take up and enjoy pickleball. The impact on knees and joints is low, providing light aerobic exercise to improve and maintain fitness levels in an enjoyable way.
We meet weekly on Tuesday afternoons between 2 and 4 at Colchester Northern Gateway Sports Park, CO4 5YX.
At present we are unable to take on any more players. However, if anyone is interested in playing please still contact us . They will be put on a waiting list so they can be advised as soon as space is available.
