Meetings are planned over the coming months to include a final talk about Queen Maude, also known as the Empress Matilda, 1102-1167, while the major event over the coming months will be two or more presentations about the War with the Japanese in Burma 1942-5, involving the 14th Army (The 'Forgotten' Army), Orde Wingate’s Chindit expeditions and their partnership with the American-led Chinese Nationalist army.
The Group's meetings cover British History from any period. Members are encouraged to contribute ideas for future meeting subjects, have the opportunity to present their knowledge to the rest of the group, or just to join in with the group discussions.

Meetings take place between 2.00 and 4.00pm on the 4th Monday of every month at the Barge and Bottle, on Carre St. Sleaford, which has a large TV which can be used for graphic illustrations. Drinks and refreshments (chargeable) may be ordered and Car Parking (chargeable) is available behind the Hub off Eastgate or in the Money's Yard Car Park.
