The wine appreciation group meets on the 4th Friday of every month at 2pm at the Marshlands Building next to the Old Picture House.
We typically spend a couple of hours sampling and commenting on 6 wines (3 red and 3 white) and learn to distinguish the various grape varieties in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
The cost is £5 per person per meeting, plus £5 per person per quarter for room hire.
The typical number of attendees is 15, with a maximum of 20. At the moment there is a short waiting list to join but anyone interested in joining us can be added to it.
