SEATON U3A PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP - Group leader Derek Thompson.
Last THURSDAY in the month, 10am - 12, at the Seaton Gateway

This group has been up and running since the early days of Seaton U3A. I took over the running of the group in April 2018.
We meet for 1 day early in each month, usually the first Tuesday, at a pre-chosen location to take photographs, weather permitting. This gives members a sociable opportunity to try to photograph a variety of subjects and for them to ask advice from other members. We also like to find a café or pub to finish off the day.
We meet again on the last Thursday of the month indoors (for 2 hours) at the Gateway to display the results of the last outing and talk them over. We also use this meeting to provide any assistance and tuition on photo topics, including the use of photo editing software to enhance photos, and to finalise arrangements for the following month's outing.
Many of our members have been in the group for several years, but there is still much to discover for all of us - and newcomers to photography can benefit from assistance from other members.
