Groups

We currently have around 80 individual groups, each with its own agenda and itinerary. Meetings take place in halls, classrooms and private homes. Please consult the Group List below, hopefully you will find something of interest. Some groups may have waiting lists.

Some groups publish more detailed information on the website about their activities. Where possible, click on the individual group in the table to display this.

Due to privacy issues we do not publish contact information for the individual groups on the website. If you are a member and want to contact a group leader, please find the relevant information on your Groups Information Sheet which is distributed together with Noticeboard. If you want to start a group yourself, our Groups Co-ordinator Rikki Wallman will be happy to help you. She can be reached by filling out the form on the Contact page.

You don't have to have special skills or talents in order to run a group. If you are interested in a subject, and you are happy to take the register of members attending, you are ready to become a group leader, and we would love to hear from you.

If the group name is in bold and italic, the group is known to have vacant spaces.
