In our QUANTOCK u3a Well-being group we make great use of the varied content on YouTube.
We usually start with a little laughter to help us to relax eg Pam Ayres or Joyce Grenfell. Four Candles anyone?
This is followed by chair exercises to strengthen our core muscles and improve mobility as in photo. No, we were not singing ‘Fly Me to the Moon’!
More energetic movement next, dancing to the Be Gees ‘Staying Alive’!
Finally Relaxation while flying over some of the most beautiful places in the world. Perhaps we were stretching our wings after all!
Then time for the ubiquitous tea and biscuits and jaw exercises.
