Neighbouring u3as
Associate Membership
Members of other u3as are most welcome to join Melbourne Area Derby u3a as an Associate by completing a membership application form. The current Associate fee is £10 a year. Associates may participate in any available group or social activity and attend the monthly all member meeting.
Guests from Neighbouring u3as
Some of our groups will accept 'guest' members from those u3as with which MADu3a has a reciprocal arrangement. Currently these are Derby u3a and Ashby-de-la-Zouch u3a. Members of these u3a may join up to three groups that have availability without needing to join MADu3a as an Associate Member.
Current groups accepting 'guest' members are:
French Dancing
Walking Netball
Road Cycling
Guest membership is restricted to these available groups only and does not include access to other activities. Guest members must provide evidence that they are paid up members of a neighbouring u3a and complete a contact information form available by emailing the Chair of MADu3a via the CONTACT US page.
Please note that priority is always given to full and associate members of MADu3a, and access to groups cannot be guaranteed.
