Melbourne Area Derby

Events

Our members' monthly 'get together' is on the first Thursday afternoon of every month; it gives you the opportunity to meet fellow members from all the different activity groups. There may be invited speakers on a wide range of topics, a quiz or an outing.

The next monthly meeting will be on October 7th from 2.30pm at Melbourne Assembly Rooms, when an invited expert will talk about the beginnings of the motor industry, including the impact it had on ordinary people's lives. Tea and coffee available.

All events are listed below and full details are sent to members.

During lockdown we continued to meet via ZOOM and the u3a nationally also hosted a wide range of on-line events for members; details available at u3a national on-line events.

Melbourne Assembly Rooms are on the High Street, when leaving from the Market place, on the Ashby road out of Melbourne. Passing the Chip and Pin pub on your right, you find the Assembly Rooms, on your left after the church and opposite the public car park. There are only a few parking places on site but there is a public car park accessible from the High Street.

Visit the Groups page for information on the different activity groups.
