This is a close-up of one of the heads of Anthony Gormley's 'Another Place' self-statues at Crosby Beach on the edge of Liverpool. I was taken by the detail and texture revealed by weathering processes. I selected the background in Lightroom to reduce all the exposure detail to zero, to create a totally black background so all attention is on the rusty detail. U3aEye Theme 'Rust'
