SCIENCE IN THE NEWS 1
The aims of the group are:-
- to keep members up to date with some of the latest developments in science and technology,
- to get a bit nearer to the truth behind some of the more sensational headlines,
- to discuss the possible significance of new discoveries and developments beyond what has been mentioned in the news items.
Group members bring news items to the monthly meetings to discuss in an informal manner.
No scientific background is required, just a wish to understand more about the changes which could affect our lives.
Members bring refreshments to share.
