Genealogy
Genealogy is one of our newest groups, having started in February 2023.
Members meet monthly on Wednesday mornings at Hasbury, sharing family history stories and experience to help everyone in their research. Members have also shown examples of how they store and display their findings, which gives ideas to help each other.
The group have looked at the range of free websites available, as well of those which require a subscription, and then considered the advantages and disadvantages of each. Moving forward, the group intends to discuss a specific type of family history resource at each meeting. Interesting stories from individual members research are also shared with the group.
