British Maps: the origin of place names and tracing ancient roads, ley lines and earthworks. Reasons for unusual town centres’ road names etc etc. So many names go way way back with their origins deeply buried. This will in the main be indoors poring over maps and Google but could perhaps lead to some summer site visits.
