This group explores various aspects of ancient civilisation, with emphasis on the Greek and Roman cultures. Fundamentals of understanding different types of evidence are presented, along with a chronological overview. DVD lectures presented from archaeological sites are often viewed as a start point.

In time, selected topics chosen by members will be researched and discussed in detail. If you want a better understanding of the sites or relics you see on holidays, or just enjoy the stories of Troy, Alexander, Caesar etc, come and join us for lively discussions.
