Groups

We would like to expand the choice of groups which we are able to offer to our members.
If you have any suggestions for a possible new group, or more importantly, if you would consider starting up a new group, please contact a member of the Committee.

Plympton u3a offers a range of interest groups. See below for a list of our existing groups.

Meetings are held in a variety of locations, from members’ houses to local community pubs and halls.
We try to keep the cost of running groups to a minimum but where the group meets in a pub you are encouraged to buy a drink.

Interest groups meet on a regular basis during the day and generally on the same day and at the same time. The exceptions to this are Garden Visits, which depend on Garden opening times and dates and the occasional Coach Trip.

Groups which go out, such as Stroll with a Camera, Short Walks and Garden Visits etc usually meet at a set place.

You may attend any group once as a taster without joining Plympton u3a but after that you will be expected to become a member.
