Improving the A55

On Friday 26th April Dr Frank Nicholson presented the group with an excellent talk.
' Problems of Improving the A55 North Wales Coast Road'.
20 members attended.
The cost of building the road was £732 million.
Frank spoke about when Wales was just mountain tops peeping out from the various Ice Ages, glacial action, kettle holes, sink holes, the vale of Clwyd fault, lead mines and shafts, marsh land, peat and much more. All this can be found on Frank's PDF with his talk and wonderful slides.
