The aim of the group is to give the beginner and enthusiast alike the opportunity to develop basic skills and design techniques and to use these skills to explore the patterns, shapes and forms found in everyday objects. The aim is to learn how to create artwork which is therapeutic, enjoyable and very individual.
Please don’t think you’ve to be an accomplished artist to join us, we’re a mixed bunch, Lindsay is an Art Graduate but I was banished from Art GCSE at school for being rubbish at drawing, so there’s room for everyone. We’re a friendly group and keep in touch through thick and thin via WhatsApp. Our sessions follow a theme, there are exercises and inspirational ideas and materials, but we encourage everyone to use their preferred medium and develop their own style.
