"Something Snappy" Photography

Leader : Eileen Taylor

Something Snappy is a photo scavenger hunt using phone cameras where the group members attempt to find photos for each of the ten prompts issued on the day of the event. You don't need to be a "proper photographer" to take part. It's more about having fun and the challenge of finding things to photograph rather than producing technically brilliant photos!

We meet at the agreed location at 10am when the list of words for the 10 photos we need to find is issued. We then separate to explore the location and have one hour to find all the photos. At 11am we meet back in a café, or maybe a pub, to share our photos with the others in the group and we decide on the location for the next session.

There will always be a wet weather alternative. The locations will be local towns and villages so members will need their own transport or it may be possible to arrange for a lift from one of the others in the group. There is no cost to join the group but individuals are responsible for their own parking and refreshment costs.
