Goldhanger Walk
On 8th June 2023, we did a 6.27 mile circular walk starting in the village of Goldhanger CM9 8AS. This entailed walking down towards the river Backwater and then along the sea wall towards Heybridge Basin, Stopping off along the way for a refreshments at Tiptree Tea rooms at The View, Osea. We continued our walk going through Chigborough Lakes stopping off to have our picnic lunch. After refuelling we continued our walk arriving back at Goldhanger for a refreshing drink at the local pub.
