Many members really look forward to the monthly meeting with the various speakers. As we prepare to come out of the restrictions we are going to now have monthly meetings using Zoom. We know it will not be the same as meeting up with friends, but hope it will be something good to look forward to during these winter months.
In the Spring we hope we will be able to meet up once again in the Community Centre. With this in mind, and looking forward to the rest of the year, we have put together the complete programme for 2021. Things may change, but using the mantra "fail to prepare, prepare to fail!", we are taking a very positive view of the year ahead with new activities planned to bring our members all the benefits of being part of Tiptree u3a.
With that in mind we have set out our programme for 2021 monthly meetings below. Click here for our complete Programme 2021.
We hold regular monthly meetings on the 3rd Thursday of the month, in the Tiptree Community Centre (1a Caxton Close, Tiptree CO5 0UP). Doors open at 1:15 pm, the meeting starts at 1:45 pm and ends at 4:00 pm.
Unfortunately, due to the capacity of the Community Centre hall, for safety reasons there may be occasions when the monthly meeting is full and we are obliged to turn members away.
We always have a guest speaker or an activity of some description. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served thereafter so you can chat with other members and generally keep in touch.
If you are not sure if u3a is right for you, why not come along and find out more about us.
You are welcome to attend a monthly meeting as a visitor (£2 charge), but on the second visit you will be expected to become a fully paid up member of the Tiptree u3a.
