Walking
The Walking Group continues across the countryside and along the canals of the Central area. Currently we are walking every week. Each of the walks is between 5 and 6 miles in length. The walkers take a packed lunch with them on the second and fourth Thursday. At the end of the walk on the third Thursday we have Lunch in a Pub.
The attendance at these walks varies, and walks are rarely cancelled. The meeting point for all walks is “The Wigginton Hotel” at 10 am. This allows us to car share when possible and to arrange lifts for those who do not have their own transport.
