Medievel History
This group meets monthly for discussion about aspects of medieval history (c.400-1500 CE). We do not confine ourselves to medieval British history but have also considered e.g. the Byzantine Empire, the Vikings and the Normans. Future topics will include medieval Spain and the Steppe peoples such as the Mongols. Topics are decided by the group members and a set of notes is sent out after each meeting, outlining what we 'covered'.
We meet on the fourth Wednesday morning of each month, from 10.00-12.00, at St Andrew's Methodist Church, Thackeray Drive, B79 8HY. The group has sufficient members for the size of the room at the moment and so please ask for your name to be added to a waiting list if you're interested in coming; thank you.
