About Us
The Men's Singing Group meets on Odd Wednesday afternoons for chat, banter, and some songs.
We also go out and entertain social groups, residential homes, and our local Junior Schools.
We sing Sea Songs, Land Songs, Ballads, Old Time Music Hall and Silly Ditties for our own pleasure and sometimes to entertain other people.
We only sing polite (or slightly cheeky) songs, and encourage audience participation.
We use the stage name "The Odd Wednesday Men" because we are men and we normally meet on Wednesday afternoons.
The Odd Wednesday Men are a good example of how, by learning a new skill through the U3A, you can put a bit of fun into your life and then share it with others.
