Standard Walk Details
We walk every 2nd & 4th Friday each month, at 10am, and the start point will vary depending on the area to be walked. Full details of each walk are emailed to members, at least two weeks before the walk date.
Travel distances are generally within 10 miles from SB and the walk length is usually 5/6 miles with a Pub Lunch at the end of the walk.
Special walks, which may be longer, are arranged from time to time usually in Derbyshire. Each group member is required to arrange and lead a walk approximately once per year. A ‘walk leader’ timetable is published at the beginning of each year covering the coming 12 months.
