Soar Valley u3a is part of a national voluntary movement providing relaxed learning and leisure activities where you can meet new friends.
There's something for everyone. We've around forty special interest groups from science to singing, history to hill walking. Plus there are social events, guest speaker meetings and organised day trips to places of interest.
Our main purpose (as outlined in our Constitution) is to encourage lifelong learning for those no longer in full time employment. We are affiliated to the Third Age Trust and are members of The Association of East Midlands U3As. Registered Charity Number: 1101205
Membership is just £12 a year!

Soar Valley u3a serves Costock, East Leake, Gotham, Kegworth, Normanton on Soar, Sutton Bonington and adjacent areas.
The membership fee covers a number of activities. Some activities require special equipment or facilities that may involve a small additional fee per session. Members of other U3As are welcome to join us as an Associate Member at a reduced annual subscription of £9.
