November 2023 AMBLE
The torrential rain forecast for the morning of our November amble didn't arrive, despite a yellow weather warning. Westley Heights was considerably quieter than usual as we walked the paths, probably because the dog owners expected bad weather too.
It was a pleasant walk with autumn coloured leaves falling, covering the paths and green parakeets screeching above us in the trees.
We took a detour to see the pigs, Peach and Humbug who were in a deep slumber as usual, although I was told they have been seen up and about other times. By the look of their leftovers, they've been feasting on pumpkins since Halloween.
