Parking at the Springhouse Social Club
Please note that parking is a privilege not a right for us at the Springhouse Club for our meetings.
The Springhouse Management have informed the Executive Committee that due to the misuse of the club's car park by members attending our General Meetings, members should find alternative parking in the Corringham town centre car parks. Also that if the misuse continues they will have no alternative but to withdraw the privilege and stop ALL members from using the car park.
One concession is that if you are on a u3a day trip you are permitted to park for the day at the rear/side of the large car park BUT not near the container area or in front of the main entrance. This must not include an overnight stay.
If you are also a Springhouse Club member or Blue Badge Holder these changes do not apply to you.
For all, please also note that a speed limit of 5mph must be observed when driving your car on the Springhouse premises. Pedestrians share the same road space as the cars.
