- I am sure that all of us love our little town and enjoy walking along the Slea, as it flows down to Cogglesford Mill and beyond. We are so lucky to have such an attractive feature to enjoy all year round. I am also sure that we share a sense of disappointment when we see so much litter and garbage that a few careless people discard in the river. It is so thoughtless, and totally unnecessary.
If you share these views, and would be willing to provide just a couple of hours on a Sunday morning every month or so, then why not follow this Facebook link to the team of volunteers and join them in helping to keep our town beautiful. It is very rewarding, and a most enjoyable experience meeting others with a similar interest.
