AGM
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on the 27th June 2023 at 2pm in the Townsend Hall, Sheep Street, Shipston on Stour. This meeting is a requirement of our Constitution which complies with Charity Law which is overseen by the Charity Commission.
The AGM is primarily for Members, but non-members were welcome to attend as observers but were not permitted to take part in debates and discussions (unless invited by the Chair) or vote.
Papers relating to the AGM had been emailed or sent to all members but can be accessed via the links on the right-hand side of this page.
Meeting agenda:
L. Welcome and apologies for absence.
2. Confirmation that the meeting is quorate (we need L0% of the members represented at
the AGM).
3. Resolution to approve the minutes of the AGM held on 28 June 2022.
4. Any Matters arising from last year's minutes.
5. The chair's report for 2022/23.
5. Resolution to approve the annual accounts for year 2022/23.
7. Election of the new executive committee Trustees/members.
8. Election of the u3a Officersfor 2023/24

Following the formal business, members were invited to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Shipston on Stour Area u3a.
