Our Groups

Our Interest Groups We offer a range of activities for members to learn from each other, through sharing their knowledge, skills and experience, or to share common interests (e.g. theatre visits, ambling etc). Interest Groups are shown below in alphabetical order. Interest Groups will be shaded with a dark grey background when full. Even if a group is full, you can ask the leader to add you to their waiting list. Please scroll to the bottom of this page to see an overview of our groups by day.

Clicking on one of the group names will open a page with more details of the group, what it does, when and its general aims. Please see the monthly UPDATE newsletter distributed to all members, for the latest program details and news from each group. If you are not currently a member and would like a copy of UPDATE, please email your request to the UPDATE Editor.

To Join a Group The only way to enrol for a group is by contacting the Group Leader in advance. Clicking on a Group's name in the table below will take you to the Group web page and if you then click on the icon in the top right corner, you will be able to send a message to the Group Leader. (Some leaders lead more than one group so please make sure you include the group's name and your membership number in your message).

Members of any other U3A are invited to join any one Interest Group indefinitely without joining. To attend more than one Interest Group, you are asked to join SoSA u3a as an Associate Member.

Shipston u3a is a member of the South Warwickshire u3a Cluster which gives mutual access to Interest Groups and Meetings as given on the document titled SW Cluster.
