Walking (5-8 miles)
We usually meet at 9:30 am on The Green every 4th Wednesday of the month, but this is subject to change. Details are sent to interested members each month and the dates can vary depending on short term weather forecasts.
Walks can be affected by poor weather over the winter months, with more local walks organised in the winter months and further afield in spring and summer months.
Walks generally take the form of an approximate 6 mile circular route, most with a refreshment stop at a cafe or pub. Walks last around 3 hrs depending on transport travel time. Car sharing is organised for walks further afield.
