French Conversation
Every Monday 2-4
Knowledge of French to intermediate level advisable.
The group is currently full - new members will be added to a waiting list.
We find topics for our group from two useful websites. The French media are very keen to promote their language and these two websites are free of charge and cater for all levels:
(i)savoirs.rfi.fr
(ii)apprendre.tv5monde.com
There is even the previous evening’s news in slow French on the ‘savoirs’ site. With these, we use the on-line newspapers and magazines, Paris Match, Le Figaro and Le Monde. We are never short of conversation and new vocabulary.
