We meet as a friendly opera loving group at Sheraton Close Residents Lounge, (a warm, spacious environment with comfortable seating), once a month, in the morning, on the 3rd Monday of the month. A synopsis of the opera is handed out and some information is given on the composer/opera. All opera is considered from new to old, within the time constraints (10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.) 3 hours including an interval for free tea/coffee and a biscuit. We try to alternate between serious and lighter operas. A small charge is made to cover room hire (more attendees, smaller charges). We welcome and have room for new members.
