Singers Group
Hello, welcome to the Singers Group.
We are a new Group, founded this year, and are here for all would-be singers. We meet simply to enjoy singing. We are gradually developing a repertoire of easy singing music including popular songs, themes from the movies and the occasional Christian hymn. Our method is to begin simply with a sing-along of several pieces and then progress slowly bringing each piece to a performable standard. We are very keen to welcome new members and musicians of any ability.
Midsession we have an opportunity to meet and chat over a cuppa and biscuit; a very popular part of the event.
We meet at St. Nicholas Owen Hall, which is attached to the Catholic Church in Castle Street Newcastle Emlyn; and meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Free parking is available in the Church car park.
