October 2013 survey of MW U3A members
At the Much Wenlock U3A groups showcase event in October 2013, we conducted a survey of members views about some current political issues and which was of most concern to them.
These are the results in order of most concern:
concentraton of power in the hands of people conntrolling big business
the erosion of human rights in some countries
finding a political solution to the situation in Syria
the possibility of Scottish independence and consequences for the UK
expanding power of the European Union
the power of China on the world stage
