Much Wenlock & District

Events

This page contains details of the monthly meetings, together with other one-off events such as Theatre Visits and Outings and any events a group may wish to publicise.

Monthly meetings will now restart in September. Please see details of the talks below.

Monthly Meetings

These take place once a month, usually on a Wednesday at 2:00p.m. in the Priory Hall. (The Priory Hall has a hearing loop system, fire exits suitable for wheelchair exit and toilets for the disabled.)

The monthly meetings are open to all members. Most meetings feature an experienced speaker from outside the U3A giving a talk on a subject of general interest. At the refreshment interval, a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits are provided free of charge.

These meetings give members an opportunity to get together, enjoy an interesting talk, and have a chat with newly-made friends over a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.

Guests are welcome to attend any monthly meeting for a small charge of £2

See below for details of forthcoming speakers. Note, there is no monthly meeting in August.
