This group was started to provide an informal and welcoming forum for appreciating and exploring different aspects of poetry. It's very much a shared effort and any new ideas for improving things are welcomed. The aim is to enjoy learning more about poetry and poets, with everyone in the group contributing their ideas and knowledge.

No previous experience or knowledge is required to join our friendly and very informal group and, as there is no charge for the venue, our sessions are free to members. Some members manage to impress us with their own compositions but others are merely content to admire their efforts.
