The group uses the Lancashire Libraries Reading Group Collection to choose books to discuss. We were asked by the library to choose a distinctive name to avoid confusion with other U3A book clubs.
Those who come to the meetings have a wide range of tastes in reading and look forward to visiting books that appeal to them and trying books that they would not have thought of reading. This has widened our interests and given us some surprises.
So far so good!!
