IT Computing

Convener: Steve Ashcroft
Meeting date: Fourth Tuesday of each month
Meting time: 10:00
Meeting location: Conference Room, Station building on Berry Lan

Steve has been running computer sessions for beginners for some years, and is happy to help u3a members with challenges and problems relating to computing, particularly those who are starting to use tablets and smartphones.

Topics requested have included help with setting up internet and email, using the internet effectively, setting up Skype and Facebook and getting to grips with tablets. Where a group of people have similar needs, the Computing group can look at these issues together. Members also share their own tips and experiences with fellow U3A-ers and we keep ourselves up to date on the latest tech, software and apps.

The group offers a supportive environment to help u3a-ers make the most of their computers, laptops and tablets and smartphones.
