Book group 2
A small group of U3 A members who meet, read and discuss a wide variety of books.
Books which have been selected recently include; The Good Earth, The Little Stranger, Kisses on a Postcard, Life After Life, The Angel's Game, American Wife, A Long Long Way, The Sense of an Ending, The Birthday Boys, Middlemarch, Notwithstanding, Mr. Rosenblum's List.
Book Group 2 meets on the 3rd Monday of the month. Members offer to host in their own home on an alternate basis. I order and collect books from Liskeard Library. Books are distributed monthly to members and we discuss plot, characters and content at the next group meeting.
We are a small group of 8-10:members, owing to lack of space in some members' homes we are full at the moment but if you wish to place your name on a waiting list, please enter your details in the Red Book. The Red Book is placed on the top table at monthly meetings.
