Creative Writing

Creative Writing is about sharing and doing the written word, we meet monthly at members of the group homes, with a small contribution for refreshments provided. Each month a set of themes/titles is given to write about or to help you write something for next time.

At the meeting we shall chat and have tea or soft drinks and cake, share our stories, poems or something we've written recently, but not for criticism or feedback, more for pleasure than anything. On occasion we shall also do a short, small writing exercise to help maintain our inspiration and joy of writing. We're a small friendly group limited to numbers due to meeting in members homes, our maximum capacity is currently 10.

If you'd like more information please contact the Convenors Lenice Hunter 01522 415748 or Joan Shawe 01522 801621, or e-mail: Creative Writing with the subject heading Lincoln U3A Writers. Thank you.

NB. In the Months from November to February we meet at 13:00 not 14:00, this to allow for the safety of members so that they are not returning home in the dark.
