Table Tennis
The Table Tennis group meet every Monday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm at Rustons Sports Centre on Newark Road. We are a very friendly but competitive group of enthusiastic players who enjoy being active and having a lot of fun. The benefits of playing are quite well documented. It helps with hand/eye coordination, balance and reflexes which also help to stimulate blood flow to the brain. The aerobic exercise from the physical activity of the game stimulates the hippocampus, the part of the brain that is responsible for allowing us to form and retain long-term facts and events.
We would welcome new members to our group.
