Our U3A depends on volunteers without whom it would cease to exist.
Listed here are roles that are currently vacant or will be vacant in the near future:
Committee Members
From time to time we have vacancies for committee members. Please contact the Chair or any committee member if you would like to join us.
Publicity Officer
There is a current vacancy for a member to take over the role of publicity manager. The job would involve advertising Harrogate u3a locally through the local press, social media and leaflets to acquaint prospective members of the activities provided by the organisation.
Website Developer
Over the next two years this website is to be replaced by a WordPress based offering. This will require someone with expertise in using this software to develop and manage the new system.
Membership Secretary
Our current Membership Secretary, who has done sterling work over the past 3 years, will be coming to the end of her term of office at the next AGM. We are looking for someone to take over this role.
If you are good at admin, have basic computer skills and enjoy talking to people, maybe you could volunteer for this essential role and be a part of our friendly committee.
You will be given all the help and training you need by the current Membership Secretary.
