Grades and Paces of Walks
All walks are graded using the following guidelines:
| Grade | Description |
| 1 | Good, mainly level footpaths |
| 2 | Mainly even footpaths, easy ascents/descents |
| 3 | Hilly/undulating, uneven underfoot |
| 4 | Steeper climbs/tough terrain |
In addition, the pace of each walk is categorised:
| Pace | Description |
| Extra Leisurely/Leisurely | Strollers' pace |
| Medium | Moderate pace |
| Brisk | Firm pace for strong walkers |
